About

I was born and raised in Zernez in the Engadine. I live and work in Zurich and near Pisa in Tuscany.

My love for colors, drawings, pictures and crafts began in my childhood. Creating my own artwork was and is a deep joy.
This love for creativity and art is still very much alive and is once again at the center of my life.

After studying to be a primary school teacher und working in the Engadine for a few years, I went to the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) and graduated as a craft teacher. Following that, I worked for a year as an assistant to the sculptor Jürg Altherr in Zurich. Over the next 15 years, I participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions (drawings, paintings, sculptures and art on building), primarily in Switzerland. During this time, I received a grant from the Canton of Graubünden.

After this art phase, I studied psychology at the ZHAW and graduated as psychologist and career counselor. In the following years, I worked as psychologist, focusing on the effects of work and mental health.

I have been working as a full-time artist again since 2023.

My artistic work is accompanied by love, joy, and a strong commitment to my craft. Through the artistic exploration and through meditation, I discover wide inner spaces and give them a painterly or sculptural form.
